Would learning how to Magnify God’s Finance and Provisions in 8 steps be inspiring to you?
Could you use a few techniques from God’s finance provisions of 8 steps to increase your financial wisdom and help you increase your finances? Make the decision today, that you will learn how to magnify God’s finance provisions in 8 steps in your life.
Remember the slogan tough times make tough people. Have you ever had a season of tough times when everything seems impossible? When you pray, it seems like things get worse, rather than better. Sometimes it seems like God is not listening, or he feels “so far away.” I have learned that the times when God seems to be “being quiet” is when he is watching over us the most. I believe that many individuals feel that way about 2020.
I have also learned that times make you or break you. In reality, you spend more time crying than praying. I learned the hard way that God’s provision does not come through tears, it comes through faith.
I believe these are cross-roads, and we either decide to trust God more, or turn back and refuse to increase our trust level. When we continue towards trust, we eventually get to the point of deciding to seek God’s provision.
These times make you wonder what is God’s will and his purpose for me? Why is his timing so different from my timing? Once again, this is a crossroad. We know God’s will, he told us that he wishes above all things that we prosper as our soul prospers (3 John 2).

initiating God's Spirit of Provision in Our Finances
As we move forward across the crossroad, we start trusting God more. We increase the desire to unlock his provision. As seasoned Christians, we know God’s provision comes through seed. But, I believe that the first seed has to be the Spirit of God. We must put the first seed in us to have enough strength to keep believing while we are waiting for the manifestation of our seed.
How do we put the Spirit of God over our spirit? You confess that you believe Christ died for you and rose again on the third day. You confess that you want him to live in you as your Lord and Savior. You confess his word to increase your faith in him.
I started my journey with the following steps.
- First I started declaring that God is my provider, no good thing will he withhold from me. (Psalms 81:11).
- Second, I started declaring that the word of God is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path (Psalms 119:105)
- Third, God is greater in me than the world, I hear God when he speaks to me and I will not follow the voice of a stranger (John 10:5).
- Fourth, I started declaring and confessing that God is able to supply all that I need abundantly, so I have all sufficiency to continue every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8).
the laws of provision And Finance in the word of god
Since the word of God provides the seed, the revelation, and laws, I had to learn the laws.
I studied Matthew 16:19 until I believed that God had given me keys to the kingdom heaven and promised that hades will not prevail over me if I build my house (faith) on the solid rock of his word.
Therefore, to use the laws of financial provision, you have to learn how the laws work so we can use the keys to unlock the laws. These are some of the questions I had to answer for myself.
understanding Provision Through the kingdom of god
What is the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Heaven?
The Kingdom of God (KOG) is the governmental system used by God. The Kingdom of God system has laws, rules, and commands. These laws, rules, and commands were created by God.
Who, What, and How is the Kingdom of God Ruled?
- Who? The ruler of the kingdom is Jehovah God and his first begotten son, Christ Jesus.
- What? The kingdom of God is a spiritual governmental system.
- How? The kingdom is God is ruled by laws.
Where do we find the laws, and how do we get them to work?
First, you get to know the king. Then you must trust that he will enforce the laws. Second, you learn to recognize the attack of the destroyer, and refuse to allow him to sidetrack you.
Third, since we are discussing finances, you follow the detailed direction of the process of accessing the kingdom’s financial provision. This law is sowing and reaping.
Fourth speak over the sown seed and give it direction in its growth. This action consecrates the money and places it into the spiritual system. When you speak to the money you sow and place it into the kingdom of God, (spiritual system), at that point, it changes kingdoms. (Mark 11:24).
learn the process of sowing and reaping for Finance and provision
Once again, since we are discussing finances sowing is the process used to plant (give) money to a specific cause that is important to God.
Where do you sow? Where to sow comes from the Holy Spirit. So you want to listen for his direction. If you don’t get any direction, look for a church where Godly provision of various programs exists.
What will I reap? The bible tells us that reaping is the harvest time. Harvesting comes through labor, yes work. If you work for a company, the harvest can be an unexpected bonus, overtime, etc. If you have your own business, the harvest could be a supersize order. You can harvest in numerous ways, that is why you want to name and direct your seed. If you do not direct the see, you will get extra finances, and not know that your seed was at work for you.
The most important part of sowing and reaping is learning how to re-sow your finances. First, you must take 10% for the tithe, then determine how to allocate the 90%. The tithe provides you with the promise of blessing (Isaiah 43:26) within the spiritual law. The provision of spiritual law allows us to receive revelation, wisdom, or supernatural understanding.
Choose Provision that include passive income
Second, you calculate how you can best increase your passive income on the remaining 90% of your income. The strategy I use is 10% tithe + 1% giving + 60% living expenses + 10% saving + 19% future/retirement savings.
Another strategy I use is putting my money in a credit union. Credit unions are usually not as large as banks, so the overhead is not as high, and the return back to you is greater. Since there are two of us, my husband puts everything into a bank. That allows us to have access to our funds when we are in another state.
Revelation increases provision and Finance guidance
Remember provision comes through revelation. So, I look for the facility that charges me the least and gives me the most passive income. When I talk to people about finances and how I save they do not believe it. I tell them to start where you are as an average person. You have to learn how to save a little before you can save a lot of money.
Below I have an image of a future value formula saving strategy. I used this strategy for increasing passive income. I suggest that you read how compounding works until you can calculate any amount of money yourself. Why, it brings a greater level of knowledge about finances, savings, passive income, and interest that you do not have before you can make the calculations. I also have the link to an interest calculator that makes it easy to understand.
Revelation of How interest income works
We all know that banks, mortgage companies, loan companies, etc., charge an interest rate for any loan given to you. However, have you noticed that they never give you the interest rate in your savings that they charge you for a loan? When I got that revelation, I developed a savings account for vacation, Christmas, and general savings.
Another strategy I use is cashback. If you watch the cashback rates on credit cards like Costco Visa through Citi-bank, you will see that you get 4% cash back on gas. In an effort to “owe no man anything” I prepay the credit card for my gas. Then I use the Costco Visa as a prepaid card. In this event, I get 4% back, not pay interest, and this cashback can be used to pay for my card the following year.
Consequently, the best finance strategy I have ever learned to use is “borrowing from myself and paying myself back.” What I love most about this strategy is that it allows me to add an interest payment to my savings account if I so desire. Also, I have control of the payments, and if I miss one, I am not penalized.
Develop a provisional system that works
There are three types of giving in the bible. They include the tithe, generosity giving, and sowing. When you start using these strategies you put yourself in the kingdom. For example, I always help widows and orphans. Caring for widows and orphans is a big deal to God (Psalms 68:5; Deut. 10:18).
The bible shows us that Jesus used to order, a provisional plan for the people when he used the bread and fish to feed five thousand. What order did he use? He sat the people in groups of 50 and 100, then had them arranged in orderly rows. Creating order means that you have put time into planning.
I have learned and experienced that helping at a church for something as simple as passing out food brings favor. The church does not necessarily have to be your own church, but one that has a program that supports something that is important to God.
Conclusion
We begin by discussing tough times, the crossroad, and deciding to trust and follow Jesus. We move to discussing how to initiate God’s provision through reading and confessing his word. We discuss why the first provision comes from the Spirit of God, and the second provision comes from the Word of God. Then we explained the Kingdom of God, and how it works.
Next, we discussed the laws of sowing and reaping for finances. After that we gave an example of how you can divide your cash so that you get the best return possible to increase your finances. We also stated how interest income is a form of passive income and how you can use your credit card to gain passive income, without creating or having a balance.
