Apply 1 Biblical Principle and Manifest God’s Provision

I applied one biblical principle so that I could get the money for retirement. This successful application of this one Biblical Principle caused me to manifest my desire. The Word of God is both a process and science. 

It is a process because you learn how to apply the word. It is a science when you can manifest your desire. Therefore, some of the processes here are the same as other prayers. As Christians, Believers, or individuals who are seeking success, we know that practice makes perfect.

Direction: The first step in the process of getting insight

The first step in the process of getting insight is to determine your outcome. Direction from the Holy Spirit will give you exact direction. Combine the direction of God with your knowledge. 

You must know what you want to achieve before you set out to achieve something. My goal was for retirement. I began seeking the Lord Jesus for how I could retire. I had no idea what it consists of because I had never retired before.

Therefore, I began by doing what I knew. I went to the word of God. But, as many of us who are novices in applying the word, where would I find “retirement” in the scriptures. Consequently, I did not find the exact word “retirement” however, I found “mountain.”

Start With the Word That You Know to Increase Your Direction

I used the things that I knew to get to the provision I wanted. The Word of God was the most powerful positive available to me. I remembered that in Mark 11:23, I am told to name the mountain. For me, this mountain was named “retirement.”  I said what I believe God told me to say, and His power provided direction.

Once I named the mountain, I still was not sure what to do for the next step. It was like being on a dark road. Some days were trying. But I continued to believe that the Lord heard my prayers. So that is what I kept telling myself. It was during this time that the Holy Spirit gave me Philippians 4:19.

Make The Word Personal

I was so dumb about retirement that I did not know how to investigate and determine what I needed to retire. So, I continued to pray, to say Philippians 4:19. Which says that my God will supply all of your need according to his riches in glory. I changed the verse and made it personal so I changed it from “supply all your need” to “my God shall supply all of your need, Sharon, according to his riches and glory.”

A few days later a representative of a TSA-403 B company came to the school. She began a conversation about how teachers were retiring. During my 30 minute lunch, she gave me complete direction on how to log into the state retirement system and investigate my retirement needs. Now I had some insight.

 I continued to read the requirements and learned that I could not retire in less than two years. But the work culture was more than I could take any longer, and stress was eating away at my health.

Find the wisdom to guide the steps to your insight

Step two find the wisdom, the insight you need. According to Proverbs 2:6-8 all wisdom, commonsense, and understanding comes from God. The skillfulness application of the Word of God. 

I had no skill at that time. My only insight at that time was to ask other believers to pray with and for me. Ephesians 3:20 says that God can do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or think.

I continued to ask how I would retire this year. The next week, the same TSA-403 B company representative returned to my school. She helped me determine exactly what I needed and how much it would cost. I found out that I needed $41,000.00 to purchase 1.78 years and retire with 30 years.

I was dumbfounded; I had no idea where I would get the money. But I knew that I had to go because the stress was killing me. I also knew that I was supposed to stand on the word of God.

Write your desire, your prayer

Step three, determine how did I acquire wisdom, insight?

How did I apply the word and manifest the money I needed? I first asked the Lord what I could do to get the money. Then the insight came. I learned, that I an account that I had been saving money for 20 years. Also, the account could be linked to the state retirement system. So basically, I was moving some retirement savings into my retirement account.

What did the wisdom look like?

Well, first wisdom told me what to ask for. In this case, it was retirement. Then it told me where to find exactly what I needed. For this prayer, it was the retirement website. Next, it told me what I had to believe God to provide for me. In this case, it was the direction to the money I had been saving for 20 plus years.

As the requirements continued to unfold, everything became visual. The direction and insight led me like a map. I retired in June of 2016. I have continued to increase in my walk and trust in God’s ability to provide for me.

Final Thoughts

I begin by sharing my thoughts on how some pastor explain that the manifestation of God’s power is both a process and science. In the first step, I explain how I start each petition to receive from God. Then I gave details of how the Lord answered my prayers and sent someone to help me. 

Next, in step two, I explained, what I believe the Lord told me about wisdom, commonsense, and understanding. I used this scripture to get the direction of what I needed and what I needed to do to retire. After that, I described the manifestation of the money in step three. I complete the article by giving more detail of how wisdom looks and sounded to me.
