Deciding to terminate 6 destroyer projected sicknesses for a better life is our choice.

Consequently, free choice is one of the most liberating privileges given to us as Christians. We have the choice of obeying God’s directives (written word) or doing things our way. Nonetheless, the choice becomes a problem when it leads you into destruction through disobedience and into the path of sickness. Most unfortunately for some, there is no return.

Confusion, misinterpretation, and twisting of the word of God create misunderstandings for many Christians. Those misunderstandings affect our healing, or lack of, the onset of sickness, financial stability, and trust in the Word of God. In some congregations, we are taught that God will make you sick, while in others we are taught that God loves you and does not make you sick.

Incidentally, the answer is in the word of God. Nonetheless, our choices determine if God allows things to happen due to disobedience or protects us for our obedience. Moreover, I believe it is time for us to terminate destroyer projected sicknesses for a better life, for the rest of our life.

As we go through life we see sick people, people who recover from extreme sickness, and people who die from something as minor as a toothache. The range of recovery seen in some individuals can construct an area of uncertainty in your mind. Nonetheless, only the Bible can remove this ball of confusion and bring clarity to this topic. Does God make people sick, if so, why?

Destroyer Project Comes Through our Ignorance

First the destroyer projects sicknesses on us through our ignorance.

Unfortunately we create an opening for sickness. Then the destroyer uses our ignorance through the power of our words to open the door for sickness and disease. How does that happen? Consequently, think about how we reject information that is given to us for protection (Hosea 4:6).

Here is an example. We have seen it in some individuals who think that Covid-19 is not real. Some believe that getting sick is a lack of faith, so they refuse to follow any mandated guidelines. In some instances, we later see that the individual has died from the disease.

Additionally, think about the self-fulfilling prophecy. A self-fulfilling prophecy is a sociological term used to describe a prediction that causes itself to become true. So let’s use this example.

First we say, my throat is sore, feels like I have a fever. What do we say next “I must be catching a cold.” Then before you know it you have a cold, or high blood pressure or whatever you gave yourself. I have learned to stop people from diagnosing me with anything.

In addition to giving ourselves bad prophecies, some of us are lazy about studying the word and getting the correct understanding. Therefore when we apply the word, the lack of knowledge causes us to twist the word and apply the wrong scripture incorrectly.

Most unfortunately this twisted application of the verse shows our lack of spiritual knowledge. Therefore once again in our own ignorance, we utter destruction onto ourselves (2 Peter 3:16, AMPC).

I believe that most Christians, like myself, want to apply the word of God to our lives. Likewise, we know that the word will save us. All in all, we must realize the importance of getting the right understanding of verses. Otherwise, you twisting the verses is like a game of Russian roulette.

As Christians, most of us study the Bible. Therefore, most of us have read the scriptures in Deuteronomy 28:15-51; Micah 6:13; 2 Samuel 12:16, and Acts 12:23. All of these tell us that God will smite you with something. I believe that Satan, the destroyer steps in as soon as we read those scripture. He starts accusing God of making us sick, and the result is that we stop learning because of fear.

When the power of fear grips us we never learn that God’s anger is kindled against disobedience. In this case, fear keeps us from being able to terminate the 6 destroyer projects sicknesses for a better life through God’s word.

Bad Choices and Disobedience Lead Us to Sickness

The second cause of sickness come from the choices we make and the disobedience in those choices.

The Bible plainly tells us why we get sick Deuteronomy 28:15. (Berean Study Bible). Well, what does the flip side of that tell us?

For me, the flip side is if you follow the commands, then I will bless you. When I developed an applicable understanding of how to faithfully obey the voice (the word) I made a choice to believe God and take him at his word. I have not received all of his blessing yet, but I am happy with those that I have received.

Through this Covid-19 ordeal, I have learned that when Deuteronomy says “all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you will obey he voice of he Lord your God” are real. My choice was to stand on the word.

So I prayed continually, and my family prayed continually. In the end, we experienced how the prayers of the righteous terminated destroyer projected sickness for a better life for me and my family.

Israel’s Lost Their Chance For A Better Life Through Disobedience

What did Israel do that was so wrong. Well, the first they turned from worshiping God, to following false gods. Then followed the gods of other people.

After following the false god, Israel became stubborn. They refused to list to God. They refused to listen to the judges that were sent to help them get away from those who plundered them (Judges 2:11-17).

Just like Israel, we miss it, walk-in pride, and miss it now in the year 2020. Consequently, we use our pride to judge other people and justify ourselves. According to Paul we should judge ourselves, our actions, and our obedience. Likewise, if you do not judge yourself and choose to follow your wisdom, you take the chance of drinking damnation upon yourself (1 Corinthians 11:29-32). The bottom line, if we chase after false gods we cannot terminate the 6 destroyer projected sickness, so we have not chance for a better life.

Stress and worry steal your chance for a better life

Third release stress, anxiety, and worry that steals your chance for a better life

If we look at Job again, we see that he was anxious and worried about the actions of his children. The Bible says that he would send for his children to purify them, rising early in the morning to offer burnt offerings for all of them. Why, because he thought, “Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts” (Job 1:5).

Sometimes as dedicated Christians, we believe that we will never face any sickness. However, that is not true. If we see sicknesses as a weapon, then we know that sicknesses will come to attack us, even when we are obedient. Nevertheless, we also know that God terminates the destroyer, with his promise in Isaiah 54:17, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Our Body is a holy temple that needs care

The fourth attack happens from a lack of properly caring for our body.

Sometimes some of us do not understand the connection between our spirit and our flesh. We don’t seem to understand that can sickness attack us through our lack of care for our body? Well to answer this we must determine what we need to properly care for our body. Proper care for the physical body consists of three simple aspects.

Deciding to commit sin as a habit, helps the destroyer attack and project sickness on and in your body.

The Bible tells us about a man that Jesus heals in John 5:5. The Bible says that the man had been sick for 38 years. The text goes on to explain that later on Jesus saw him in the temple and told him to stop sinning or something worse may happen.

The Destroyer Projects attacks through our minds and words

The sixth-way sickness attacks us is through our mind and words.

Satan knows that the Word of God promises us healing in the Bible. The Bible tells us that he knows scripture. We must be mindful of the power of suggestion the destroyer’s ability to trick us into saying the wrong things.

For example, you may have nothing more than a stuffy nose. But, the power of suggestion will say, I think I might be coming down with something. Now, in 2020, people are so afraid of Covid-19, that a sneeze, creates the fear of having the disease.

How do we protect ourselves from the 6 destroyer projected sicknesses

First, we must build ourselves up on our most holy faith. Pray in the spirit and let the Holy Ghost direct your steps (Jude 1:20). Praying in the spirit will allow the Holy Spirit to increase your knowledge and lead you to the action you need to take at that time.

Second, decide that you are going to be obedient. According to 1 Samuel 15:22b, God doesn’t want your sacrifices. He wants you to obedience.

The third, is simple, drop your pride. Cast all of your cares upon the Lord because he loves you (1 Peter 5:7). I have heard some testimonies of provision and healing that seem like a tv scene. However, all of these people declare that God provided their desire when they gave him the problem.

I remember when the husband of a lady’s husband wanted to retire from a major company. A few years earlier he had transferred into a subdivision of the company, and the major company did not want to honor the retirement plan they offered their employees. So the husband and wife prayed and simply asked for the same retirement plan that was offered to the employees who remained in the major company.

It took two years for their prayer to be answered, however, God caused the union to find a way to provide a retirement plan for that family. Also, the husband not only got the retirement plan from the major company, but he also got a small retirement plan from the subdivision because he worked there for 13 years before he retired.

Fourth we must destroy the destroyer. We can treat our body like the holy temple made by God. I believe that when we see that our body is holy and requires care, we will recognize the importance of health maintenance.

Fifth turn away from continual sin. I have learned that it is more peaceful to be a doer of the word and not grieve the holy spirit. I remember one year, it seemed like I had to repent for something I said to someone every other day.

Sixth learn to say what God says. We all tend to speak first and think later. But, the word tells us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger (James 1:19). For me, this action took a lot of thought because when you are trying to respond to something, you do not always have time to think.

Also, you can always simply say, “I don’t know, I will have to think about that.”
